liberal arts education

Having a liberal arts education is very important to me. Some people think it's stupid, and hate having to take that wide range of core classes, but I value that. Without those required classes, we would more then likely never take classes that are not in are field and you would never know if there is another field that you like more, that you would rather do, that you have never thought of before. On top of that you learn a much broader range of material, and will make you a much more well rounded, intelligent person.

college tour

I did not like the Today’s college tour at all. I thought the skits were so unrealistic because the client would come in tell the helper their problems and stand up saying they felt better, when the helper did nothing to actually help them. The problems the clients had could really happen and are things that many people have to deal with on a daily basis, I thought the way it was presented and the acting were poorly done, even more importantly I thought the helper did a horrible job. Other t6hen nodding a helper did not use any attending skills, nor did he offer any insight, he just say there saying nothing, and lip singing in-between a few clients.

How I’m going to improve my grades this semester.

Even though I had a 3.5 GPA last semester there are still some thins I think I can do to improve my GPA this semester. For the most part last semester I did not do the required readings for any of my classes, nor did I make time to study other then during lunch on the day of the test, and I was really lackadaisical on doing the blogs. So this semester I am going to TRY to make sure I do most of the readings, make time to study, and post my blogs on time. I have a feeling that my classes this semester are going to be significantly harder then the classes I had last semester however, my goal for this semester is to get a 3.6 this my not seam like a very ambitious goal considering it's only .1 higher then last semester, but I like to set realistic goals for myself that I know I can reach if I try, and I think anything higher would be an unrealistic goal because these classes are going to require much more time and effort.
